-
Each child should be registered under the grade they have completed.
-
Absolutely nothing! It’s completely free for your child to attend.
-
A t-shirt, modest shorts, tennis shoes, or closed-toe shoes. Some spaces can get cold, a jacket/sweater labeled with their name, is also recommended, but optional.
-
Your child may bring a small backpack with a water bottle, Bible and a jacket/sweater if needed. We ask that they not bring any snacks, toys or tech devices in those backpacks.
-
Your child will receive a snack. The Mcallen ISD Summer Feeding Program will also be providing a free breakfast and free lunch for children under the age of 18, but a parent must accompany their child during the meal. If your child will be eating either meal, it must be indicated while registering for Kids Week.
-
Please indicate what allergies/dietary restrictions your child has, while registering, under the question- “Does your child have any allergies or medical conditions we should be aware of?”
-
Yes, please indicate what special need your child has, while registering, under the question- “Does your child have any special needs or circumstances we should be aware of?” To help our Sidekicks Ministry best serve your child, we ask that you complete the Sidekicks form as well.
-
For security reasons, we will only have registered adult volunteers, with cleared background checks, in the groups during Kids Week. We do welcome you to register as a volunteer, if you would like to be with your child.

While we try to accommodate all requests, because activities are tailored to respective ages, we ask that kids remain with their grade levels.
-
On day 1, we invite parents to pick up their child’s tag at the registration counter and receive a bracelet with your child’s group color and letter. You will then walk them to their group leader in the respective large group worship space, to collect their name lanyard. Your child’s group leader will mark your child present on their roster and take responsibility for your child till it’s time for pick. We ask for you to pick up your child from the group number and color you dropped your child at in the morning, present your child's tag and mark your child off the roster, as picked up.
-
Yes, though they will need to present your child’s tag for pick up.
-
The children will not be left unattended or unsupervised, an adult will be present at all times. We will also have police officers and our security team overseeing the spaces.
