What is the
BT Internship?

Equip

As a part of the Internship Program, you will receive theological/biblical training though classroom style courses that will help you grow in your relationship with Christ and build a biblical worldview. The goal with equipping is not to just to gain head knowledge but to assist you in teaching it to others.

Encourage

We believe that your desire to be a part of the Internship Program is a desire that you might have to be in ministry. While ministry calling is not a requirement for the internship program, we want to encourage you in your call as a believer and minister of the gospel. The goal of encouraging is for you to receive personal care and investment throughout your time in the internship.

Exposure

Each intern will be placed to serve in a specific ministry of BT. Throughout your time, you will be exposed to both the internal workings of BT Church through staff/ministry meetings and provided opportunity to use your gifts through hands on ministry experience.

FAQs

  • To begin the process, please complete the Internship Application using the link above. Applications are based per term (Spring, Summer & Fall). Applications are open for each term.

  • There is absolutely no cost. Our desire is to invest in you so we provide a stipend towards your higher education enrollment.

  • While each week might be different, as an intern, we ask that you commit to 15 hours / week that will be involved in both ministry training, exposure, and class sessions focused on biblical/theological training. Your ministry leader will work with you each week to set your schedule depending on the needs of the ministry.

  • Currently there are a max of 10 interns per term. If we are full for a given, we recommend you apply for the possibility to join the internship for a future term.

  • A call to ministry is definitely not a requirement, just a desire to serve the church in a deeper way.
